However, his new adventure is quickly drawn to a violent halt. Frightened and exhausted, he finds shelter at a strange, otherworldly bed and breakfast establishment named, rather ominously, The End of the World.

The debut of the original stage play of The End of the World starred Broadway’s Theo Stockman in the lead role. The actor playing Mother in that production, Christine Rendel, is the very same actor who plays her now – 16 years later - in this audio drama.
