Operator is a gripping audio drama that provides a unique perspective on the classic tale of "The War of the Worlds" as performed by Orson Welles and the Mercury Theater back in 1938.

The story focuses on the experiences of Fay Rogers, a young woman embarking on her first night as a telephone operator. As the drama unfolds, listeners are transported to a world on the brink of chaos. Unbeknownst to Fay, an alien invasion is imminent, and the fate of humanity hangs in the balance.
