Hammer Chillers

Dramatized horror anthology
This show was binge-ready, but now it's not. 😢

It may have switched to an "always on" status, or the creator may have stopped using Season Number and/or Episode Number values. Or they're inconsistent with their tagging, have removed episodes, or made other changes—intentional or not—leading to a less-than-binge-ready listener experience.

Or... it could be our fault. We might have listed the show too early, and episodes are still releasing. Regardless, it's currently in a state that disqualifies it from being listed in our directory, as it's no longer binge-ready.
You may find more information and listening links at the show's official website.

Hammer Chillers

Yikes! Something odd is happening with this show making the episodes inaccessible or the entire show no longer binge-ready.

Show synopsis

This show uses machine-generated voices

Six contemporary horror tales from Hammer Films: terror underwater in a helicopter crash simulator... a neighbourhood clean-up campaign stirs up an ancient evil... the hate-filled words of an internet troll come to life... a broken-down St Petersburg lift holds unimaginable horrors... bingo, knitting and murder in 1970s suburbia... and myths and monsters on a Greek party island.

In the first series of Hammer Chillers, writers Stephen Volk (Ghostwatch), Stephen Gallagher (The Eleventh Hour), Christopher Fowler (The Bryant and May Mysteries), Mark Morris (Toady), Paul Magrs (The Brenda and Effie Mysteries) and comedian Robin Ince (Radio 4's The Infinite Monkey Cage) bring you six new tales of terror.

Hammer Chillers contains adult material and is not suitable for younger listeners. Contains all six stories and a bonus documentary.
