“Cigs Kill,” is a captivating original romantic thriller radio drama written and produced by Arts & Industry Entertainment Management major Heather Batezel ’24.

Our story centers around Emma, a college student at the University of Delaware, who is grappling with the aftermath of a toxic relationship. When she meets Will, a charming and mysterious figure, at a local bar, Emma’s world is turned upside down. However, as their relationship blossoms, Emma discovers that Will is hiding a dark secret—a secret that could have deadly consequences. As the tale unfolds, listeners will be taken on a rollercoaster of emotions, with unexpected twists and turns that will keep them on the edge of their seats.

Featuring a talented cast of Rider University students and staff, as well as immersive sound design, “Cigs Kill” offers a gripping narrative experience that delves into the complexities of love, trust, and the consequences of hidden truths.
