TWITS, A Steampunk Distraction

Radio play comedy series
This show was at one time binge-ready, but now it's... not?

It may have switched to an "always on" status, or the creator may have stopped using Season Number and Episode Number values. Or they're inconsistent with their tagging, leading to a poor listener experience.

Regardless, it's currently in a state that disqualifies it from being listed in our directory, as it's no longer binge-ready.
You may find more information and listening links at the show's official website.

Show synopsis

This show uses machine-generated voices

The TWITS series follows the adventures of Cyril Chippington-Smythe (Michael Urie), the world’s richest man, and his mechanical manservant Bentley (Dakin Matthews) as they navigate a dystopian world in search of love and meaning. This is a world in which the great minds that should have discovered electricity went into the restaurant business instead, or decided to chuck the science game because their true passion was stand-up comedy. It is a world of hydrogen, steam-powered servants and factory-made food- in which the privileged few, like Cyril Chippington-Smythe, whose every wish is instantly gratified, have nothing to live for but pleasure… and fashion… and love.

With a brilliant supporting cast of characters played by Christian Borle, Helen Cespedes, Stephen DeRosa, Nick Sullivan, Mary Testa, Kiera Allen, Teddy Yudain, James Monroe Iglehart, Taylor Iman Jones, Ann Harada, Wesley Taylor, Rachel York, Lilli Cooper, Fergie L. Philippe, Nik Walker, and more, narrated by Lillias White, this transporting podcast, written and created by Tom Alan Robbins, is sure to tickle your fancy.

Sound inviting? Well, you’re invited. Come drift away on a comic cloud. The dining room is serving Impossible Mutton today and there’s a Brandy and Prozac with your name on it.

Don’t be late. Hats required.
