NIMROD is a five-act brute-farce in verse! It’s a ridiculously chilling blend of Julius Caesar, Ubu Roi, and The Simpsons Movie that follows an imagined final year of a criminal businessman’s presidency (the Nimrod administration) through the eyes of Lani, its beleaguered Slovenian First Lady. Is it a ribald comedy? A brutal tragedy? Will language itself devolve into madness and lies? And what does a radioactive pig have to do with the fate of the free world?
