The Oakville Players

Founded in 1962, The Oakville Players is a non-profit, community theatre group based in Oakville, Ontario and is a founding member of the Oakville Drama Series. We are dedicated to fostering the growth and development of community theatre, in Oakville and the surrounding area. Through consultation and collaboration, our executive board, the membership, and other community volunteers, we produce two main stage productions annually at the Oakville Centre for the Performing Arts. We also produce a One Act training event, Live Radio Plays and participate in various community events, thereby entertaining thousands of audience members with live theatre experiences. We are committed to providing the highest quality of affordable and engaging theatrical productions possible. We educate and train volunteers and emerging artists in various aspects of theatre by fostering cooperation and collaboration in the regional community to promote theatre.
