I wanted to be a Dungeon Master. I have a hard time remembering details, and D&D has a lot of them. So I decided to build my own world and hoped maybe the mechanics would stick. They did not. That's okay. I'm still on the fake-it-til-you-make-it Game Master plan. When my friends entered the WTPP world, they were confused. At times, angry. It was certainly a lesson in how not to create a D&D campaign. But I had written so much: lore, character histories, constellation legends, the internal logic of a place that didn't exist. Abandoning it felt wrong. I'm a professional voice actor and a mostly self-taught audio production MacGruber, which is to say: I had no business building this much world with this little budget, but here we are. Nothing exploded, unless it was supposed to. Season One was made on a near-zero budget. It exists because the world insisted.
