Ken L Gould has worked in healthcare for 25 years, where he has witnessed firsthand the difficulties of dealing with death and the struggles of those who refuse to let go. DEATH'S GRIP is his debut novel. In keeping with his nomadic ways, this book was written in many states and cities, beginning in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, traveling to Overland Park, Kansas, and winding down in Flagstaff in the shadow of the wild mountains of Northern Arizona. He has now settled (as much as he can settle) near Kalamazoo, Michigan, where he still works nights in healthcare (he's also a night owl by habit, which is when he does most of his writing.) Ok, enough of the back of the book stuff. I mostly write thrillers, though who knows where my muse will wander off to or, in the case of my muse, drag me, whether I want to go there or not. My debut novel, DEATH'S GRIP, is a science thriller. Next, I think I'll dig into a political thriller, though my muse may make me write the sequel to Death's Grip. Who knows? Time will tell. Oh, and when I say thriller, they tend to be more than that, given my tendency to blend genres and twist plotlines and my need for amoral characters who struggle to find their morality, instead of seeming to innately know it.
