Jordan Harbour grew up in Victoria, Canada, lost in the worlds of fantasy and science fiction. When he discovered ancient history, he found a wellspring of world-building that was endless. Carrying this passion for the past into adult life, he studied archaeology as a way to get as close to the past as possible. He travelled the world, to China, Europe, and Africa. He excavated a Roman fort in the Middle East and a castle destroyed by war in Ireland. On his many journeys, he kept journals describing the overflow of emotions and sensations. What did it feel like to walk the streets of an ancient town? What happened the night the castle fell? Journaling led to story writing, and eventually to podcasting.
