Andee Kinzy

ANDEE KINZY (Writer, Producer, Director) is an award-winning multi- disciplinary artist specializing in theatre, film, and audio storytelling based in Austin, TX. She uses these platforms to provoke thought, challenge societal norms, and foster empathy. She is a teaching artist and a 2024-2026 Texas Touring Roster Artist. She produced the Global Hamlet web series and organized "Denmark and Dice," a student-devised podcast. As Festival Director for the Girl Improved Film & Television Festival, Andee inspired girls and nonbinary youth to challenge gender inequality in entertainment and served on the board of WIFT Austin. She has written/produced/directed multiple short films, is developing a fiction podcast about aging and end-of-life autonomy, and is co-curating a multimedia exhibit about peri/menopause. Her favorite herb is cilantro and she has more curiosity than a cat.
